What is Connecting Communication?
Connecting Communication
From communication tools to a way of life
Connecting Communication provides tools to deal with misunderstandings, triggering/disconnecting events and conflicts. These tools help us better understand ourselves and others.
The two main ideas behinds behind Connecting Communication is:
1. Nonjudgment - by noticing the words we use and discern whether they are evaluative or not we can choose if this is the best way to connect with myself and others.
2. Universal Feelings and Needs - all human beings have and can relate to feelings and needs regardless of the situation. By identifying and acknowledging feelings and needs we can understand, grow and find peace/acceptance.
Both principles of Nonjudgment and Universal Feelings and Needs require and encourage AWARENESS. Awareness is the central goal/skill behind our practice as it gives us choice and flexibility to reach growth and peace.
Our mission is to foster understanding, empathy, and collaboration and facilitate the development of your unique communication style. Whether it's through our free monthly introductions, free weekly meetings, a corporate workshop or our 10-week basic course, we are committed to creating a supportive environment where meaningful connections can thrive.
